It's About Time!

If Ella could speak, that's what she would have said when we finally started feeding her some rice cereal. We made sure she was happy, set her in her high chair and moved that little baby spoon towards her. At first, we weren't sure what to think...

Then we got a little in our mouth, but quickly shoved it out...

And then we caught on to what this whole eating thing was about. It didn't take long to realize that semi-solid food was going to make her happy...very happy!

As we finished with the last bite, I'm pretty sure I heard her say, "I'm ready...bring on the Happy Meal"!
