Baby's First Easter Sunday

We had a great first Easter full of pictures, egg hunts, easter baskets, bunnies, food, laughing, smiling, crying, & whining! Holidays are rough on a routine baby, especially one with an ear infection and top teeth poking through the gums. But despite all of that, we were able to capture a few smiles and that made it all worth it!

We thought this would be a perfect photo opportunity with the yellow buttercups in the background, but Ms. Priss thought otherwise!

Here is Ella's first Easter basket filled with a duck, two books, lots of plastic eggs, and a stuffed goose. Why a stuffed goose, you ask? Well, we tend to call Ella "Goose" all the time, derived from "Silly Goose", so Lee searched high and low and found one at PetCo. Unfortunately, he took Maggie with him when he went, so she thought it was her toy. We finally had to give in and give it to Maggie after she wouldn't leave Lee alone!

This was so much different than at Christmas, because Ella was actually interested in her gifts. Once we sat her and the basket on the ground, she was immediately into the basket. We loved it!
