Instead of Mom's Day Out, we have had a few Parents' Nights Out which are always fun and essential to staying sane. (Really, it is...our pediatrician said so...doctors orders).
Last week was a pretty full week for us at night, so a big thank you goes out to all of the grandparents who were able to watch the girls! We appreciate you all so much!
Last Wednesday, I was able to get tickets to the Miss Tennessee pageant from work and Mom, Becca, and I landed in the fourth row to see the competition. As always, it was a great show and we always enjoy it so much! To top it off, at the final competition on Saturday, an Alpha Gam from Memphis Erin Hatley won the entire thing!! It was a proud moment for Memphis Alpha Gams!

Then on Thursday night Lee graduated from Leadership Gibson County, a leadership program through our Chamber of Commerce. We enjoyed dinner, a speaker, and hanging out with friends he had made over the course of the program.

Friday night topped off the week with a much anticipated overnight stay in Memphis to see Beauty and the Beast at The Orpheum. This was a chance for us to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary from the week before and hang out with our good friends Jocelyn and Eric, who were actually celebrating their 6th anniversary!
We had a great time eating out at Majestic Grill, seeing the play, and then hanging out on Beale Street. We were headed to a club that was one of my college favorites because of the band that sometimes played there. On the way, I mentioned it and said I don't know what it is like now, but it used to be great and they had this band that played super awesome songs, blah, blah, blah...never expected them to be there. BUT THEY WERE! It absolutely made my night that Kevin Paige's band was playing and they definitely did not disappoint! It was great!

At Alfreds...can you tell how tired we are? That was probably the latest I have stayed up in 2 years that wasn't for the purpose of feeding a baby!
