Sweet Virginia Lee is now 7 months old and is a busy little girl! Now that she can get just about anywhere that she wants to by dragging her body with her arm and pushing off with her foot, she wants to grab and touch anything she sees!
Gin-Gin (as she is becoming affectionately known as) went to the doctor for her "6-month" check-up just a few days ago and weighed 19 pounds 8 ounces...wowza! She was 27 1/4 inches long! The doctor came in and said, "Well, she is certainly growing, isn't she?" Her chunky legs and arms are adorable and we just can't get enough of kissing and biting on those cheeks! She must be trying to imitate us, because I got caught in a moment where was she sucking on my cheek. Maybe mine looked as good to her as hers look to me!
We have finally bumped up to 6-9 or 9 month clothing. Since the weather is changing, this is a perfect time to dig into those winter clothes and find the sizes that fit her. Hopefully those will last a little while, but I'm guessing not more than a month and half! Size 3 diapers are definitely what she needs now and she can even wear the 4s (which is what Ella wears) when we can't find a 3 lying around when we need it!

Her eating habits are starting to change a little as we have started solids at lunch time and at dinner time, most every day. Puffs are quickly becoming a favorite of hers, but steer clear of the avocados and broccoli. She makes the worst faces when eating those...don't get me wrong, she will still eat them, but doesn't like it too much! Lately she hasn't wanted to finish all of her bottles, so maybe she is getting full from the food. Only time will tell...
Virginia is quickly becoming a big Daddy's girl! Since Ella is very clingy to me, that leaves Daddy to take care of Virginia a lot of the time. And she loves it! She will put on the biggest smile when he walks in the room...and the squeals, oh the squeals when he kisses on her. It is beautiful!
Big sister is still taking care of her most of the time making sure she is okay when she hits her head or asking her if she is coming when E walks out of the room. Here they are watching TV together...

And here is her most favorite thing to do (in the past few days anyway)...sit in the wagon! Lee was working in the kitchen the other day for a while and she just played and played in the wagon...so content to just sit in the bottom of it and play with the straps, get up on her knees and look out and then catch someone's attention and laugh! Who needs an exersaucer or baby toys when you have a wagon!?!
